The Sandy Springs Police Foundation is an independent nonprofit 501(c)(3) corporation created by local business leaders to support initiatives of the Sandy Springs Police Department. Donations from individuals and companies fund special programs, the Tactical Instruction Center, officer safety measures, training, equipment, and new technology that are not covered by the city budget. As modern law enforcement becomes more complex, the Sandy Springs Police Department, like other departments nationwide, has their focus on technologically advanced systems to help Sandy Springs remain a leading community in which to live and work.
