I support the Sandy Springs Police Department. Which organization should I donate to: the Sandy Springs Police Benevolent Fund or the Sandy Springs Police Foundation?

The purposes of each organization are different:

  • The Sandy Springs Police Benevolent Fund is focused on support for officers and their families. It assists financially during an officer’s time of need.
  • The Sandy Springs Police Foundation provides assistance and support for equipment and facilities to help the Sandy Springs Police Department enhance public safety and foster a positive relationship with the community.

Of course, we welcome and thank you for your support of both organizations!

What will my contribution to the Sandy Springs Police Foundation be used for?

There are a number of goals and objectives the Sandy Springs Police Foundation is focused on, including construction of a firearms training facility in Sandy Springs to provide a convenient location for local law enforcement firearm qualification.
